Sus cuadros elegantes, poéticos y sugerentes, encierran íntimas iconografías, enigmáticas formas que son ya reconocibles en su pintura y que definen universos propios, intransferibles, construidos con elementos simbólicos que nunca abandona y que dispone a través de resortes intuitivos.
Cuando el sentimiento y el deseo marcan el objetivo, cuando la búsqueda del equilibrio supera fisuras, aúna energías, esquiva lo superfluo, prioriza la luz ante el tenebrismo y huye de recovecos imposibles, el proceso lleva implícito el pausado ejercicio de distinguir y valorar lo esencial, lo que prevalece. Las figuras que aparecen en sus grandes lienzos, casi siempre cuadrados, de fondos limpios y claros, obedecen a tres conceptos que se repiten de manera hipnótica una y otra vez; el hombre, la naturaleza y el tiempo.
